DESCRIPTION RCB-7090 High Solids U.V. Cure Vacuum Metallizing Basecoat has been designed specifically for use on Valox, BMC and Nylon. Among its attributes, RCB-7090 offers outstanding thermal stability, uniform flow, superior gloss, hiding, and outstanding cross link density. Due to its outstanding flow and exceptional depth of field, this product aids in the coverage of many substrate surface imperfections, making it ideal for use in a wide variety of applications. RCB-7090 has been specifically designed for extended use at elevated temperatures; passing in excess of 24 hour exposure at 480 degrees F., without shifting the Metallizing film, or break down of the coating surface

Apply as is. APPLICATION Method: Apply by conventional and HVLP Spray.. CURE CYCLE Flash off 15 minutes at ambient temperatures (or) Flash off 5 minutes under IR lamps. Cure at a minimum of 4000 mj cm/sq. STORAGE Store in tightly sealed containers, at ambient temperatures. Protect from moisture, evaporation and foreign materials. Process ability of this product can be adversely affected by evaporation and contamination. SHELF LIFE 12 months, provided materials are kept in sealed original containers under specified conditions. Storage beyond this period can produce higher viscosities. AVAILABILITY RCB-7090 is available in 5 and 55 gallon epoxy phenolic lined steel containers.
