VT-149-3 COSMETIC RESISTANT VACUUM METALLIZING TOPCOAT

DESCRIPTION
VT-149-3 Chemically Resistant Topcoat, has been specifically formulated for use in Cosmetics packaging and general purpose VM applications, requiring above average film properties and solvent resistance.
Among its attributes, this Metallizing Topcoat offers very good flow, specularity, hardness, mar and chemical resistance properties, as well as very good levels of Humidity and water emersion resistance.
VT-149-3 is suggested for use with any of our Vacuum Metallizing Basecoats. Its air drying to low-curing temperature requirements, makes this Metallizing Topcoat ideal for use on most lines.

Do not reduce. Apply as is.
APPLICATION
Method: Apply by conventional and HVLP Spray..
CURE CYCLE
Flash off 15 minutes, followed by a 60 minute cure at 150 degrees F.
STORAGE
Store in tightly sealed containers, at ambient temperatures. Protect from moisture, evaporation and foreign materials. Process ability of this product can be adversely affected by evaporation and contamination.
SHELF LIFE
12 months, provided materials are kept in sealed original containers under specified conditions. Storage beyond this period can produce higher viscosities.
