VACUUM METALLIZING COATINGS - VT-5650-200R
VT-5650-200R .65 CST IN-CHAMBER VACUUM METALLIZING TOPCOAT
|
DESCRIPTION
VT-5650-200R .65 CST In-Chamber Topcoat, is a water white, crystal clear VM Topcoat that is intended for application within the Vacuum Metallizing Chamber and is evaporated much like Metallized Metal-films. The deposition process is performed prior to completion of the Metallizing cycle at thickness levels of 700 - 2000 Angstroms, on average.
Because various lighting applications require only a thin protective layer or film to provide scratch resistance of the Metallized surface and mild environmental resistance, VT-5650-200R is a cost effective alternative to conventional fast dry Vacuum Metallizing Topcoats.
VT-5650-200R is suitable for use in most general purpose, Automotive and Commercial sealed beam lighting applications in VM over Plastic, as well as VM over Basecoat applications.
