SP-922 LOW COST, HIGH REFLECT VM ARGENT
DESCRIPTION SP-922 is a High Reflect, one coat Argent that has been designed to replicate Vacuum Metallized Surfaces. Formulated for use in Automotive and general purpose sealed beam directional lighting applications, SP-922 offers superb clarity, reflectivity, gloss and flow and is intended for use on smooth surface as well as multi-faceted lamp housings. SP-922 adheres equally well to such substrates as Acrylic, ABS, Polypropylene, Polycarbonate, Glass and Aluminum. In addition, due to its relatively high level of solids, SP-922 aids in covering of many minor surface imperfections, making it a candidate of choice for most low temperature lighting applications.

Over agitation of SP-922 Argent can cause pigment breakdown and dull films. REDUCTION: Do not reduce. Apply as is. APPLICATION METHOD: Apply by HVLP and Conventional Spray. CURE CYCLE Air Dry or force dry. For best reflectivity, air dry 15 minutes, followed by a 30 minute cure at a minimum of 140 degrees F. STORAGE Store in tightly sealed containers, at ambient temperatures. Protect from moisture, evaporation and foreign materials. Process ability of this product can be adversely affected by evaporation and contamination. SHELF LIFE 12 months, provided materials are kept in sealed original containers under specified conditions. Storage beyond this period can produce higher viscosities. AVAILABILITY SP-922 is available in 5 and 55 gallon epoxy phenolic lined steel containers.
