DESCRIPTION
VB-4810 is a Thermally stable and heat resistant 2K Vacuum Metallizing Basecoat that has been designed specifically for use in the finishing of Nylon, SAA, Thermoplastics, and primed or flame treated Polypropylene.
Among its attributes, VB-4810 provides outstanding gloss, superb wetting, very good open film time and exceptional cross linking at relatively low temperatures and short durations. Not intended for use on ABS, Acrylic or Polystyrene.

CATALYST REQUIREMENTS
Pre-catalyze at the rate of 7.8 parts paint to 1 part SX-300 2K Catalyst.
REDUCTION
Do not reduce, apply as is.
APPLICATION
Method: Apply by conventional and HVLP Spray.
CURE CYCLE
Flash off 15 minutes, followed by a 90 minute cure at a minimum part temperature of 195 degrees F., to as much as 295 degrees F., depending on substrate, film thickness at application and in-service temperature requirements.
STORAGE
Store in tightly sealed containers, at ambient temperatures. Protect from moisture, evaporation and foreign materials. Process ability of this product can be adversely affected by evaporation and contamination.
SHELF LIFE
12 months, provided materials are kept in sealed original containers under specified conditions. Storage beyond this period can produce higher viscosities.
