VB-4784-LV VOC COMPLIANT VACUUM METALLIZING BASECOAT
DESCRIPTION VB-4784-LV V.O.C. Compliant version of VB-2021-MD, is an industry recognized standard low cost VM coating designed specifically for use on Interior surface Automotive and general purpose Metallizing applications. Among its attributes, VB-4784-LV adheres to most thermoplastics as well as un-primed Polypropylene, various grades of TPO, Nylon, Noryl and some metal. Uniquely formulated to deliver high build and optimum flow, VB-4784-LV is intended for use in Automotive forward lighting and tail lamp assemblies, as well as residential and commercial lighting applications.

APPLICATION Method: Apply by conventional and HVLP Spray.. CURE CYCLE Flash off 15 to 30 minutes, followed by a 60 to 120 minute cure at 160 - 260 degrees F. depending on substrate, film thickness at application and in-service temperature requirements. STORAGE Store in tightly sealed containers, at ambient temperatures. Protect from moisture, evaporation and foreign materials. Process ability of this product can be adversely affected by evaporation and contamination. SHELF LIFE 12 months, provided materials are kept in sealed original containers under specified conditions. Storage beyond this period can produce higher viscosities. AVAILABILITY VB-4784-LV is available in 5 and 55 gallon epoxy phenolic lined steel containers.
