REDUCTION

Apply as is, without reduction for spray. Reduce 2:1 or as much as 3:1 with Acetone or Butyl Acetate for dipping applications. Reduce 3:1 or as much as 4:1 with Butyl Acetate for application by flow coat method.

APPLICATION

Method: Apply by Conventional or HVLP Spray, Dip and Flow Coating application.

CURE CYCLE

Flash off 15 to 30 minutes, followed by a 90 minute Cure at 250 degrees F. For shorter baking schedules where higher temperatures permit, bake at 300 - 325 degrees F. for 60 minutes. Can be cured for shorter durations, at temperatures up to 500 degrees F.

SPECIAL NOTES

Due to the unique nature of this coating, VB-4360-SP can be cured at significantly lower temperatures than the assemblies in-service operating temperature may require. Please contact your Pearl Paint representative to learn more about VB-4360-SP and other thermally resistant Vacuum Metallizing Coatings.

STORAGE

Store in tightly sealed containers, at ambient temperatures. Protect from moisture, evaporation and foreign materials. Process ability of this product can be adversely affected by evaporation and contamination.

SHELF LIFE

12 months, provided materials are kept in sealed original containers under specified conditions. Storage beyond this period can produce higher viscosities.

AVAILABILITY

VB-4360-SP is available in 5 and 55 gallon epoxy phenolic lined steel containers. Please contact Pearl Paints for ordering information.
