DESCRIPTION VX-1243 is a crystal clear Flow Agent and Hardener, intended for use in Topcoats. In addition to it's outstanding flow properties, VX-1243 affords a great deal of "slip", and aids in over-all adhesion characteristics of cured Coating. VX-1243 is suggested for use in paint systems that accept Esters, including Butyl Acetate, as reducing agents. VX-1243 is specially formulated for use in Topcoats, and should not be added to Basecoats or Primers. VX-1243 is commonly used in 1 to 2 ounce increments, per gallon of ready to use Coating. Use as is. APPLICATION Mix: Pre-mix thoroughly before use. Application: Add at the rate of 1 ounce to as much as 2 ounces per gallon of ready to use Coating. CURE AND GLOSS VX-1243 does not affect cure cycle or Gloss levels. CAUTIONS None Known. STORAGE Store in tightly sealed containers, at ambient temperatures. Protect from moisture, evaporation and foreign materials. Process ability of this product can be adversely affected by evaporation and contamination. SHELF LIFE 12 months, provided materials are kept in sealed original containers under specified conditions. Storage beyond this period may produce higher viscosities.
